Prof. Owler is a highly experienced neurosurgeon. He welcomes new patients, however, to ensure the appropriate triaging of patients, please ensure that you email your referral and any imagining to the practice. Our staff will contact you as soon as possible to arrange your appointments. Referrals can be sent via your GP or uploaded using the facility linked futher down this page.
As Prof. Owler only operates at the SAN and Norwest Private Hospital, he is unable to provide services to patients who do not have hospital cover private health insurances including neurosurgical cover.
Once Prof. Owler has reviewed your referral; you will be contacted by our staff to arrange an appointment. We will email you a copy of our Patient Information Form on confirmation of your appointment. To optimise your appointment, please return your patient information form, any scans and current referrals prior to your appointment. If you are unable to complete the form, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the necessary forms.

Current Referral Forms
New patients must have a current referral from either their general practitioner or specialist. GP referrals are generally valid for 12 months and specialist referrals are valid for 3 months. A referral is necessary to claim a rebate from Medicare.
